DIA DE LOS MUERTOS (DAY OF THE DEAD) Celebrating another eventful year with our partners at IMEX. Dia de los Muertos reception, hosted by our Fiesta Americana Grand Meetings Mexico team, brought together a fun-loving crowd. Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican Holiday celebrated throughout Mexico to celebrate and remember friends and family who have passed on, to pray for and help their spiritual journey into the afterlife. Academics will share that the modern holiday has roots within the Aztec culture. The holiday is now celebrated with favorite foods and beverages of the departed as well as by visiting and decorating the graves of those passed. Today, we often see celebrations which include sugar skulls, skeletons, and traditional décor to dress up the day. We had a great time at the reception, we hope our guests did as well. We hope all of our new and old friends make it down to one of our properties soon where the fun never stops!
